The organization works in collaboration with government bodies, UN agencies, NGOs, and community partners to create protective environments and promote positive socio-economic change in conflict-affected and underserved regions of the country.Report to: Senior Program ManagerSupervises: MHPSS Coordinator, Meal Coordinator, CP & GBV Officers, Type of Employment- Four Months Contract with possibility of extension based on fund availability ROLE PURPOSE: The Child Protection Program Manager provides overall leadership and technical oversight for Child Protection programming including case management, MHPSS, and community-based child protection mechanisms. The role ensures quality implementation in line with Child Protection Minimum Standards, safeguarding and PSEA commitments, and donor requirements. The post holder leads planning, implementation, reporting, budget management, staff supervision, and coordination with clusters and government stakeholders. This role covers Shire, Sheraro.T/Adyabo,Ahsea,Alamata,Raya Alamata, and Ofla. KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:Strategic Planning and GovernanceDefine program vision, objectives, and success criteria aligned with organizational strategy.Establish governance structures, controls, policies, and procedures for effective program execution.Develop and maintain program roadmaps and long-term implementation plans.2. Coordination and Oversight Oversee multiple interrelated projects within the program portfolio.Provide guidance and direction to Project Managers to ensure consistency and alignment.Ensure integration and coordination across projects to avoid duplication and maximize synergies.3. Risk and Dependency ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks that impact multiple projects within the program.Manage interdependencies across projects to ensure smooth transitions and timely delivery.Implement corrective measures when deviations from program objectives occur.4. Stakeholder Management and CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for senior leadership regarding program status & outcomes.Communicate program progress, risks, challenges, and ROI to internal and external stakeholders.Facilit...
