Job description
Purpose of the PositionThe Canteen Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the canteen to ensure that ATS standards of food quality, hygiene, service delivery, and customer satisfaction are consistently maintained. The role focuses on operational efficiency, stock control, cost management, and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized working environmentKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily canteen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.Supervise canteen staff and ensure duties are properly assigned and completed.Monitor food quality, portion control, and service standards in line with ATS policies.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.Assist in stock control, stock ordering, and monitoring stock variances and spoilage.Ensure proper documentation of daily sales, stock records, and operational reports.Coordinate with kitchen, stores, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted service.Address customer feedback and ensure prompt resolution of service-related issues.Ensure all company policies, including HR, HSE, and operational procedures, are followed.Support audits and inspections by providing accurate documentation and cooperation.AccountabilitiesThe Canteen Coordinator will be accountable for:Maintaining operational efficiency within the canteen.Ensuring compliance with ATS Food Safety and Health & Safety standards.Accurate stock management and reporting.Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.Proper supervision and training of canteen staff.Department: Food and BeverageReporting To: Camp Manager/ Project Manager Location: Assosa, Kurmuk
