Position Overview

This vacancy presents a chance to join a leading organization. As Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing, you will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to enhance the organization's reputation while leading a dedicated team of PR and corporate communication professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR campaigns and strategies to enhance the organisation's reputation
• Oversee media engagement, press releases and development of communication materials
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists and influencers
• Manage issues, crisis communication and response effectively
• Lead a team of PR and corporate communication professionals in the department
• Develop and implement corporate communication strategies
• Manage internal communications, ensuring employees are informed and engaged
• Write and edit speeches and talking points for various stakeholders
• Oversee communication channels, including the company website and social media platforms
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the brand and clinical services
• Oversee internal and external corporate events
• Lead digital marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns
• Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure positive coverage

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Master's Degree in Communication, Public Relations or related field
• 5 years of management experience
• Proven experience managing diverse teams across a large organisation
• Strong issue and crisis management experience
• Practical experience in writing and editing
• Experience in customer relations management
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Accredited member of IPR, Ghana
