Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with expertise in the seed industry to lead our cooperative. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, drive operational excellence, and oversee all aspects of seed production and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the cooperative
• Oversee seed production, processing, and quality control operations
• Develop and implement business strategies to increase market share and profitability
• Manage financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Foster relationships with farmers, stakeholders, and partners
• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and industry standards
• Drive innovation in seed varieties and sustainable agricultural practices

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in seed production, agronomy, or agricultural management
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
• In-depth knowledge of seed quality standards, certification processes, and crop science
• Excellent financial management and business development abilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working with farmer cooperatives or similar organizations is an advantage
