Sales Representative – North-west Region and West
A- Duties and Responsibilities
a) Prospecting and Business Development
- Identify and seek out new clients within the North-West region.
- Build and manage a customer portfolio (wholesalers, retailers, distributors).
- Present and showcase the company’s products to clients.
- Discuss and agree on sales terms in line with the company’s commercial policy.
- Log customer orders and ensure proper tracking until delivery.
- Meet the sales targets set by the Sales Department.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints and suggest suitable solutions.
- Check product availability at customer sites and avoid stock shortages.
- Spot business development opportunities within the area.
- Recommend promotional activities to boost sales performance.
- Produce regular reports on commercial activities and sales results.
- Follow up on customer payments and overdue debts.
- Take part in sales meetings and company marketing activities.
- Sales and commercial negotiation techniques.
- Customer prospecting and portfolio development.
- Market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Proficiency in sales monitoring and reporting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dynamic and results-driven attitude.
- Autonomy and organizational abilities.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Initiative and perseverance.
- Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) / Bac+2 in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or business development.
- Good knowledge of the North-West regional market would be an additional asset.
