About the Position

Yaounde International Business School (YIBS) is seeking a Director of International School of Engineering, Science and Technology for this strategic leadership role.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and management for the school, including planning, budgeting, and programme development
• Promote academic excellence through curriculum development and the implementation of innovative teaching and learning methods
• Oversee school development, performance appraisal, and recruitment in collaboration with the Human Resource department
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies; oversee student admissions, retention, and progression within the school
• Represent the school internally and externally; engage alumni, donors, and partners to advance institutional goals
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion in the school's programmes

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Engineering, Science and Technology, or a closely related field from a recognised university
• At least five years of progressive leadership or administrative experience in higher education or a comparable sector
• Demonstrated track record in academic programme development, accreditation, budgeting, and staff management
• Excellent communication, strategic planning, and decision-making skills
• Ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture
