Opportunity Overview

SAASA B2E is seeking a dedicated Operational Cashier to join its team in Yaoundé, Cameroon. In this role, you will serve as a frontline representative, managing customer interactions at the betting counter while maintaining strict adherence to operational and regulatory standards.

Position Details

• Reporting To: Floor Manager / Network Operations Manager
• Employment Type: Permanent full-time position (CDI)
• Probation Period: 3 months (renewable once)
• Work Schedule: 12-hour rotating cycles with 2 consecutive working days followed by 2 days off. Shifts alternate between daytime (6am–6pm) and nighttime (6pm–6am)

Key Responsibilities

Bet Processing and Wagering

• Welcome customers and input their sports and virtual betting selections into the terminal system
• Receive and record all wagers, verifying ticket accuracy before confirming transactions
• Explain game mechanics and how odds are calculated; maintain neutrality and avoid steering customers toward specific betting choices

Financial Management

• Maintain detailed records of daily cash transactions linked to your position
• Verify that all collected amounts correspond precisely with system records
• Perform comprehensive cash drawer reconciliation during shift transitions, including independent verification and formal sign-off documentation
• Process fund submissions according to established organizational protocols

Compliance and Risk Management

• Refuse service to minors and individuals with active gambling restrictions
• Execute customer identity verification (KYC) protocols, especially for substantial winning payouts
• Alert supervisory personnel immediately regarding any irregularities, cash shortfalls, unusual patterns, or potential fraudulent activity

Workplace Standards

• Maintain a hygienic, organized, and welcoming counter environment
• Alert management promptly if any equipment malfunctions or requires maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience working as a cashier or betting operator in the sports or virtual gaming sector
• Practical knowledge of betting terminal systems and odds calculation methodologies
