Position Overview

Methodica Consulting is seeking local experts in livestock assistance, veterinary support and animal health in selected countries. The successful applicant will join the evaluation team on selected evaluation mandates, supporting the development of project design and the validation of preliminary findings. You may also conduct in-country data collection activities, including site visits.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in veterinary or livestock support in one of the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, or Togo
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: treatment and vaccination campaigns, capacity building, replacement of livestock assets, provision of livestock feed, provision of water, livestock off-take, or livestock shelter
• Full proficiency in English or French

Assets

• Experience in livestock-related evaluations
• Ability to deploy for data collection activities (particularly valuable for consultants in Cameroon, Chad, and Nigeria)
• Fula language skills (strong asset for local experts in Chad, Cameroon, Mali, and Nigeria)
• Arabic language skills (asset in Chad, Mali, and Niger)
