Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to Advanced Level students
• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum materials
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
• Provide individualized support to students to enhance their understanding of complex computer science concepts
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Stay updated with current trends and developments in computer science education

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Teaching certification or equivalent qualification in education
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary or advanced level
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and computer systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities
• Familiarity with the Zimbabwean education system is an advantage
