Storeman for Structural Steel Co

An established company is recruiting for the following position.

Vacancy: Storeman for manufacturing company

A structural steel company based in Blackheath Industrial is looking for an experienced storeman

Scope:

Understanding of consumables and steel members for structural steel trade.

Offloading of stock deliveries against orders and delivery notes

Issuing of consumables and raw materials etc

Issuing and returns of tools, checking for faults and maintenance on tools when returned.

Weekly stock count and orders

Maintaining of minimum stock levels

Assist with loading of deliveries for dispatched goods and issuing of delivery notes

Liasing with office, drivers and issuing of delivery notes / Orders for stock that needs to be transported for Galvanising

Maintaining a clean and organised up to date store environments (all orders packed away correctly)

Other operational tasks withing the scope of this role

Requirements: Matric

Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English )

A minimum of 2 years stores experience in a similar environment manufacturing store

Solid experience with 3 contactable references

Clean criminal record
