Sales executive / software sales executive

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive specializing in software solutions with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding client portfolios. This position requires expertise in consultative selling, lead generation, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You will be skilled at building strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored software products that enhance business performance. Proficiency in CRM tools and market analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up
• Meet prospective clients to understand their business requirements and challenges
• Present and demonstrate software solutions effectively to potential customers
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process
• Coordinate with internal technical and implementation teams for successful project handover
• Assist clients during software implementation, onboarding, and basic user training
• Follow up with customers for feedback, support requirements, renewals, and upselling opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems
• Stay updated on company products, industry trends, and competitor offerings

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related IT field
• Up to 1 year of experience in Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, or Software Sales (advantageous)
• Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn are welcome to apply
