About the Role

An exceptional opportunity exists for a detail-oriented and driven Accountant to join the Finance Team of a prestigious luxury hospitality estate situated in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands. Key Responsibilities

• Capture and reconcile cash books and daily cash-ups
• Process general ledger transactions and journal entries
• Manage debtors administration, including invoicing, account reconciliations, and collections
• Manage creditors administration, including invoice processing, account reconciliations, and payment loading
• Assist with stock administration, invoice capturing, and monthly stocktakes
• Administer petty cash
• Coordinate the ordering of centralised goods
• Perform general finance and administrative duties as required

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping (completed or currently in progress)
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience working on Pastel (Sage) Evolution or a similar accounting system
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to take ownership and work independently
• Professional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across departments
• Flexible and accountable approach to work
