About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled educator to deliver high-quality instruction in Biology and Chemistry to students at both O-Level and A-Level. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the ZIMSEC and Cambridge syllabuses, fostering a passion for scientific inquiry, and guiding students toward outstanding academic achievement and practical competence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Biology and Chemistry for O-Level and A-Level students
• Align teaching with the established ZIMSEC and Cambridge curriculum requirements
• Inspire and motivate students to explore scientific concepts and develop critical thinking skills
• Ensure students achieve excellent academic results and demonstrate strong practical laboratory skills
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain a safe and productive classroom and laboratory environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall science program and student learning experience

Requirements and Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with experience teaching Biology and Chemistry at O-Level and A-Level
• Thorough knowledge of the ZIMSEC and/or Cambridge syllabus structure and assessment standards
• Strong ability to promote scientific inquiry and practical competence in students
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to achieving outstanding academic outcomes for all students
• Relevant teaching certification or degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
