Handyman Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and skilled person to join our Handyman business. This is a fixed contract position with the potential to become full time.

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency with hand and electrical tools
• Proficiency with steel work (cutting, grinding, and other operations)
• MIG and TIG welding skills to intermediate level
• Ability to read and understand design and construction plans
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid references (more than one)
• Own cell phone
• No medical conditions that prevent you from carrying out your work (medical test may be required)
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• No criminal record

Advantageous Qualifications

• Working at heights certification
• Welding certification
• Electrical experience and certification
• Photos and information of previous projects
• Residence close to Durbanville

Remuneration

Salary: R60 – R80 per hour, depending on experience.
