Driver (code 10 with pdp)

A well-known company is hiring for the position described below. Job Title: Driver Industry: Events Industry Employment Type: Full-Time Job Purpose We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver to join our team in the events industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of equipment, stock, and staff where required, ensuring smooth event operations and excellent service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport event equipment, stock, and materials to and from venues
• Assist with loading and offloading of goods when required
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of vehicle
• Support warehouse and dispatch operations when needed
• Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures
• Assist with event setup and breakdown when operationally required
• Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately

Requirements:

• Valid South African Driver’s License
• Own reliable vehicle (essential)
• Previous driving experience, preferably 2 – 4 years
• Good knowledge of routes and surrounding areas
• Strong time management and reliability
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours as required
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading
• Good communication skills
• Clear criminal record preferred
