Partners In Health (PIH) is a non-profit, global health organization that fights social injustice by bringing the benefits of modern medical science first and foremost to the most vulnerable communities around the world. PIH focuses on those who would not otherwise have access to quality health care. PIH collaborates with the world’s leading academic institutions to create rigorous evidence that shapes more sound and all-inclusive global health policies. PIH also supports local governments’ efforts to build capacity and strengthen national health systems.

As of today, PIH runs programs in 11 countries (Haiti, Kazakhstan, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mexico, Navajo Nation, Peru, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, United States), where it support health care delivery to millions of patients, through public facilities and community engagement.

Job Summary

Oversee the full lifecycle of multimedia production by conceptualizing, capturing, and editing high-quality visual stories that promote the organization’s mission while upholding rigorous ethical standards and digital asset management.

Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-quality photo and video projects that document IMB’s programs, staff, and communities.

Capture footage and photographs that align with IMB’s mission and values, maintaining the dignity and privacy of all participants.

Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Communications team, and Marketing and Communications staff at the U.S. Coordination Site to identify and develop cohesive multimedia stories.

Manage all aspects of production, including pre-production planning, filming, photography, and post-production editing.

Edit and deliver visual materials for use across platforms, including social media, websites, donor materials, and internal communications that meet organizational brand, quality, and ethical standards.

Maintain and organize multimedia files within PIH’s global asset management system (Canto), ensuring proper naming, captions, metadata, and archiving.

Support the creation of social media and web content in collaboration with the Communications team.

Work to obtain translations, transcriptions, and produce subtitles 

Manage and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.

Train PIH/IMB staff in basic photography and videography skills and promote ethical storytelling practices as needed.

Create graphic treatment elements such as transitions, lower thirds, and motion graphics. 

Stay current with emerging trends in multimedia production and content strategy.

Uphold PIH’s standards for informed consent, privacy, and dignity in all storytelling.

Perform other duties as assigned.
