Incumbent also prepares local participants for Mandela Washington Fellows (Young African Leaders Initiative – YALI), International Visitor Leadership (IVLP) programs and serves on selection committees for IVLP and Fulbright candidates. Advises CAO on selection and implementation of small grants. Monitors local reaction to mission programs and drafts results cables and reports for PAO and CAO, Mission, and Department usage. Translates remarks for Public Affairs programs and events. Oversees work of Alumni and Youth Outreach Coordinator.
