S/he will also attend a weekly CLO team meeting in the Community Liaison Office. The newsletter editor also assists the CLO with administrative duties and events. The editor, in collaboration with the CLO, will also maintain and update/create content for the Embassy CLO SharePoint site. Assists CLO in providing information on recreational, housing, schools and employment opportunities to family members. Backs up CLO in CLO absence. Position is part-time up to 20 hours per week.Qualifications and EvaluationsRequirements:EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years’ experience in office, managerial, or administrative work is required. Minimum 1-year professional experience in desktop publishing (or similar creative publishing experience). Minimum one year proven work in customer service environment.JOB KNOWLEDGE: Good knowledge of Foreign Service and Niamey/Niger living, Nigerien culture and the basic structure/function of the Embassy and various USG agencies is helpful. Good understanding of administrative processes is required.
