Telecom Back Office Transmission Engineer

Main Mission:The Telecom Back Office Engineer Transmission is responsible for overseeing and providing technical support for telecom transmission equipment. The role involves the management, configuration, and maintenance of the infrastructure necessary for data transmission and communications. The engineer also plays a key role in incident resolution and the implementation of technical solutions to ensure service availability and performance.Key Responsibilities:Configure and set up equipment in collaboration with operational teams.Technical Support and Incident Resolution:Perform in-depth diagnostics to identify root causes of failures.Implement recommendations to optimize transmission link quality and bandwidth.Prepare technical reports detailing interventions, incidents, and solutions implemented.Collaboration with Operational and Project Teams:Supplier and Contractor Management:Technical Knowledge:Understanding of IP networks and communication protocols.Ability to diagnose complex transmission issues and provide quick, effective solutions.Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools.Communication and Relationship Management:Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Desired Profile:Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, certifications from providers like Cisco, Huawei, Juniper) are a plus.Experience with incident management and working with complex network infrastructures.
