Nsamizi Training Institute for Social Development (NTISD) is an Implementing Partner of UNHCR, committed to providing WASH, Environment and Energy Services in refugee settlements, transit, reception and collection centers, and hosting communities.

Position Overview

NTISD seeks to recruit competent and experienced Monitoring & Evaluation Officers (3 positions) to strengthen monitoring, accountability, and reporting under the OCHA-funded programme.

Job Purpose

The M&E Officers will be responsible for supporting accurate data collection, verification, analysis, and reporting of project indicators in line with OCHA and UNHCR requirements, ensuring timely and high-quality reporting across all settlements.

Key Details

• Contract Duration: 6 months (aligned to OCHA Project Implementation Period)
• Duty Stations: South Western Region (Nkaviea, Oncingha, Kyaka II, Rwamwanga, Kyangwali)
• Reports to: Country M&E&E Focal Person and WASH Coordinators

Main Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management

• Coordinate and oversee routine data collection across assigned settlements
• Ensure accurate tracking of key OCHA indicators, including water access and service levels, sanitation coverage, and hygiene promotion reach
• Support field teams in proper use of data collection tools

Reporting and Documentation

• Compile and submit weekly, monthly, and periodic reports
• Ensure timely reporting into required systems
