Rider Sales – Clerks

Position Overview

Biyinzika Poultry International is recruiting a Rider Sales Clerk to deliver dressed chicken orders to customers across Kampala safely, on time, and in good condition, while promoting sales and collecting payments. This role combines delivery representation with mobile sales, ensuring excellent customer service and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Distribution

• Deliver dressed chicken orders to shops, restaurants, agents, and households promptly and accurately
• Verify the quantity, temperature, and condition of products before dispatch
• Obtain customer signatures or delivery confirmations for all deliveries
• Return delivery documents and payment receipts to the Distribution Centre daily

Sales & Customer Engagement

• Promote and sell dressed chicken products to existing and potential customers along assigned routes
• Identify new customers or outlets within the delivery area and share leads with the sales team
• Upsell products, communicate ongoing promotions, and encourage repeat business
• Provide basic product information and handle customer queries courteously

Stock Management

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and collections
• Report any stock shortages, damages, or customer complaints immediately

Motorcycle Care

• Operate the company motorcycle safely and responsibly at all times
• Conduct daily pre-ride checks (fuel, brakes, lights, tyres, carrier box)
• Ensure the motorcycle and delivery box are clean, branded, and well-maintained
