Position Overview

This role is one of eight Regional General Secretary positions available across multiple regions in Uganda, including Western, Kitara, West Nile, Northern, North East, Eastern, Buganda, and Kampala. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and professional expansion of football nationwide.

Role Summary

Provide strategic, administrative, and operational leadership for FUFA activities within the region, ensuring effective implementation of policies, competitions, and development programs in alignment with FUFA statutes and national football objectives. The Regional General Secretary serves as the primary link between FUFA headquarters and regional stakeholders, promoting good governance, compliance, and expansion of football at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Governance

• Oversee the day-to-day administration of the regional office in line with FUFA policies and statutes
• Ensure compliance with FUFA regulations, national laws, and governance standards
• Coordinate regional meetings, including Executive Committee and stakeholder engagements
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of regional activities

Competitions Management

• Supervise regional competition programs and activities
