About the Organization
Uganda Assemblies of God, Katajula CYDC in Partnership with Compassion International, is seeking a qualified Project Director to lead their child and youth development initiatives.
Job Summary
The Project Director will serve as the team leader of the project staff, providing guidance, knowledge, and skills to church leadership, project staff, children, and caregivers. This role ensures that all programmatic and financial matters of the project are managed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a witness for Christ and advocate for children and their caregivers
- Oversee day-to-day project activities for effective program implementation
- Prepare project work plans and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
- Function as the accounting officer of the Child & Youth Development Centre
- Submit monthly reports to project leadership and partners
- Support the Overseer in implementing partnership agreement standards
- Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members
- Work with and influence others to advance organizational objectives
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Mature born-again Christian with a sound testimony and proven relationship with Jesus Christ
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Development Studies, Social Work, Education, Child Development, Children's Ministry, Business Studies, or Social Sciences
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proven integrity in personal and public life
- Excellent communication skills

Position Type: Full-Time
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Salary: UGX per month (competitive)
