Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited is part of Mehta Group of Companies and is the leading producer of mill white sugar in the country. The company is located 45km along the Kampala–Jinja Highway, within the vicinity of Lugazi Municipal Council, Buikwe District.

Position Overview

We are recruiting a Head Mechanic for our Heavy Equipment section. This is a full-time position based in Lugazi, Uganda.

Key Responsibilities

The Head Mechanic will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of heavy machinery and hydraulic systems within the organization.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Automobile Engineering
Professional Certificate in relevant field
7–8 years of hands-on experience in repair and maintenance of heavy machines and hydraulics
