About the Role

Safetech Security Limited seeks a dedicated Driver to deliver quality, standard, and timely services to our organization and stakeholders. This is a full-time position based in Kampala, Uganda, reporting to the Fleet Manager within the Operations Department.

Job Purpose

To provide reliable transportation services and maintain company vehicles to the highest standards while ensuring the safety and punctuality of all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport employees and security personnel to designated destinations
• Deliver important documents and materials to required locations
• Ensure all deliveries are signed for and delivered to the correct recipients
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance on assigned vehicles
• Keep company vehicles clean, properly maintained, and road-ready through regular washing and servicing
• Report any mechanical problems or vehicle issues to your supervisor promptly
• Report any traffic tickets issued against company vehicles during work hours
• Maintain accurate time records of vehicle movements and routes
• Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to management immediately

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes in Kampala
• Effective communication skills
• Punctual and reliable work ethic
