About the Organization
PALM Corps (PC) is a registered National NGO committed to improving the quality of life of vulnerable populations through transformative education and community development initiatives. In partnership with Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and UNHCR, PALM Corps is implementing an education programme in refugee-hosting districts.
Position Overview
PALM Corps invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals to fill Deputy Headteacher positions in refugee settlements. Multiple openings are available:
- Imvepi Refugee Settlement – 8 positions
- Rhino Camp Refugee Settlement – 12 positions
- Bidibidi Refugee Settlement
Reporting Structure
Reports to: Headteacher
Key Responsibilities
- Support school administration and teacher supervision
- Ensure discipline, performance monitoring, and learner welfare
- Assist in stakeholder engagement and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Education (Degree preferred)
- At least 2 years of leadership experience
- Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) registration
General Requirements
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Strong understanding of child safeguarding principles
- Ability to work in hardship and multicultural environments
- Recommendation letter confirming good conduct and no protection violations
