Shop Supervisor – Consumer

Biyinzika Poultry International is recruiting a Shop Supervisor to manage shop operations and drive sales of all company products. The role holder will manage the shop business and operational areas in accordance with company rules, regulations, and guidelines while ensuring the accomplishment of goals and targets set by management.

Primary Purpose

To sale and market all company products, create a positive public image of the company, and manage daily shop operations with a focus on achieving sales targets and maintaining professional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all FMCG products sold at the shop, including dressed chicken and all related products
• Achieve daily sales targets for all products at the shop
• Communicate correct pricing and product specifications to customers
• Maintain a professional approach in all customer interactions
• Coordinate and reconcile product deliveries to bulk buyers
• Order dressed chicken and related products on time and follow up with the sales clerk at the abattoir to ensure order processing
• Control and manage stock according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain a clean and tidy shop environment at all times
• Manage cash and sales operations at the shop
• Ensure timely banking of cash collections from all sales made
• Perform daily cash reconciliation of sold stock and provide daily reports to the Sales Manager and Sales Officer
• Market company products and safeguard the company's image in the community
• Review cash sales against targeted sales and develop plans to achieve and exceed set targets
