About the Company

Machapala Group is recruiting for its subsidiary, Machame Refineries, a fast-growing energy company commissioning a state-of-the-art pyrolysis plant in Nyenga, Jinja. The plant converts waste tyres and plastics into pyrolysis oil and other sustainable fuels, contributing to industrial energy solutions and circular economy development.

Job Summary

The Feedstock Handler is responsible for ensuring a consistent, safe, and quality-controlled supply of raw materials to the plant, supporting uninterrupted production and maintaining required input standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure feedstock materials (tyres and plastics) are properly received, sorted, cleaned, and prepared in accordance with plant specifications
• Effectively remove contaminants to maintain feedstock quality and protect plant equipment
• Accurately track and maintain inventory levels of raw materials to ensure continuous production
• Manage storage conditions to ensure safety, minimize degradation, and prevent losses
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Conduct handling processes in compliance with safety and environmental standards

Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in logistics, warehouse management, or a related field
• Experience in industrial material handling or warehouse operations (preferred)
• Basic inventory management skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong ability to work with precision and safety protocols
