We are seeking suitably qualified candidates for the Senior Regional Technical Officer, Strategic Information Police & Prisons position in Kagera for our EpiC project in Tanzania.

About the Project

The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project dedicated to achieving and maintaining HIV epidemic control by providing strategic technical assistance and delivering lifesaving activities. The project aims to achieve HIV epidemic control and promote self-reliant management of national HIV programs by improving HIV case finding, treatment programming, and viral load suppression.

Job Summary

The Senior Regional Technical Officer will support the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities in Kagera and Kigoma regions. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to EpiC staff, Police and Prison teams, healthcare providers (HCPs), community health workers (CHWs), and local government counterparts to strengthen Strategic Information (SI) systems at both facility and regional levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthen data management processes and data visualization systems
• Develop analytical tools for routine program monitoring
• Facilitate data analysis and interpretation to generate actionable insights that inform program decisions
• Provide technical support for M&E activities across assigned regions
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of State requirements
• Support capacity building for local partners and staff
