Environment Operator

About the Role

The Key Purpose of this role is the operation of BTS Plant, utilities steam plant, carbon dioxide plant, air plant, water treatment plants, and refrigeration systems. The Environment Operator will execute quality control checks and monitoring, and support the utilities Technical Operator in monitoring and operating the utilities plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate plant and process equipment
• Maintain BTS and utilities operations
• Measure and optimize production performance attributes
• Conduct first line maintenance tasks and schedules
• Conduct autonomous operator maintenance and operator breakdown maintenance tasks
• Ensure quality control of utilities supply
• Prepare boilers for government inspections
• Interpret and execute production plans
• Apply Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures
• Maintain workplace safety, housekeeping, and risk-free standards
• Report on plant, machine, and process problems
• Work effectively in teams and communicate clearly in the workplace
• Contribute to self and team development
