Position Overview

The Senior Instrumentation Artisan will report to the Senior Instrumentation Technician and support the installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial instrumentation and control systems within processing and power generation environments.

This role requires strong technical skills in instrumentation systems, automation, and process control to ensure accurate measurement, system reliability, and efficient plant operations. The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance teams to ensure instrumentation systems, PLCs, SCADA, and field devices operate effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain field instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, and level indicators
• Calibrate and troubleshoot control loops and instrumentation systems for accurate process control
• Inspect and maintain PLCs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation wiring for faults and performance issues
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and documentation of instrumentation equipment
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new instruments and control systems
• Support maintenance teams during plant shutdowns and start-up operations
• Maintain accurate records of calibrations, repairs, and replacements
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all instrumentation activities
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to resolve technical issues
