Position Overview

We are seeking qualified candidates to fill 3 Legal Intern positions. The Legal Intern will support the Legal Department in its day-to-day operations and assist in ensuring the organization's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual seeking practical exposure to corporate legal work, legal documentation, contract management, and broader corporate legal processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting legal research on various laws, regulations, and legal issues
• Support the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements
• Help maintain and organize legal files, records, and documentation
• Assist in ensuring company compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
• Support in drafting basic legal correspondence and reports
• Assist in monitoring contract deadlines and renewals
• Help in handling routine legal inquiries and escalate complex matters to the Legal Officer
• Support the preparation of case summaries, briefs, and presentations
• Assist in liaising with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities when required

Qualifications and Skills

• Recently completed a degree in Law
• Basic understanding of legal principles, corporate law, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and communication skills

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Duration: 8 months

Compensation: TZS (Monthly)
