Job Summary
Manage outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure timely debt recovery while maintaining good customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on overdue accounts via phone, email, and letters
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements
- Maintain accurate records of collections activities and payments
- Monitor accounts and escalate delinquent accounts as needed
- Prepare weekly and monthly collection reports
- Work closely with the finance team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in credit collection or related role
- Strong background in credit collection or microfinance industry (preferred)
- Call center experience
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Integrity and persistence
- Ability to work under pressure
