Dereva Daraja II (Driver II)

About the Position

Mpanda Municipal Council is recruiting a Driver II to support organizational transportation and logistics operations. This is a full-time position based in Mpanda, Tanzania.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to assess safety conditions
• Transport staff and officials to various locations for work-related travel
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Complete and maintain travel records and documentation in the trip logbook
• Collect and distribute various documents and correspondence as needed
• Clean and maintain vehicle cleanliness

Required Qualifications

• Form IV (High School) certification
• Valid Grade E or C Driver's License
• Minimum one (1) year of driving experience without causing accidents
• Training certificates that qualify for the respective grade
• Completion of a Basic Driving Course from a VETA training institution or another government-recognized training center
