Credit Collection Officer

Job Summary

Manage outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure timely debt recovery while maintaining good customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on overdue accounts via phone, email, and letters
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements
• Maintain accurate records of collections activities and payments
• Monitor accounts and escalate delinquent accounts as needed
• Prepare weekly and monthly collection reports
• Work closely with the finance team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in credit collection or related role
• Strong background in credit collection or microfinance industry (preferred)
• Call center experience

• Excellent customer service abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
