Position Overview

Eden Risk Management is recruiting 9 CCTV Grade Operators for our Bellville location. The primary responsibilities include monitoring activities across various areas to identify and prevent security breaches or safety incidents, while ensuring continuous upkeep of the CCTV system and promptly reporting any malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor activities in various areas to identify and prevent security breaches
• Detect and respond to safety incidents
• Maintain continuous upkeep of the CCTV system
• Promptly report malfunctions and system issues
• Report incidents to the security team with effective communication
• Maintain high vigilance and focus during extended monitoring periods

Required Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Valid PSIRA Grade C certification
• Prior working experience as a Grade C Security Officer
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel)

Technical Experience Required

• Control room software experience including:
  • CCTV systems
  • Topic Worx
  • ANPR Vehicle tracking
• Knowledge of CCTV control systems and related technologies
• Proficiency in using computer applications and navigating technical interfaces

Essential Skills & Attributes

• High observational abilities and keen eye for detail
• Understanding of security procedures, regulations, and protocols
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, multicultural, and dynamic environment
• Experience working in high-pressure environments
• Respectful, polite, and professional attitude in all interactions
• Clear criminal record

Location & Requirements

• Based in Bellville, Western Cape, South Africa
• Ability to commute to Brackenfell, Western Cape (required)
