Warehouse Supervisor - Jacobs

About the Role

A retail company in Jacobs is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team immediately. This is a key operational position overseeing daily warehouse activities and managing a team of approximately 50 staff members.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficiency
• Manage large inventory systems and stock controls
• Supervise receiving and despatch processes
• Oversee picking slips and IBT process
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards
• Monitor staff attendance and sign off timesheets for payroll
• Manage staff rostering and scheduling
• Track picking and IBT statistics and implement controls to meet daily deadlines
• Ensure accurate despatch and oversee logistics processes
• Collaborate with Logistics Coordinator to ensure timely stock distribution

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG warehouse facility
• Computer literacy and experience with warehouse-based computer systems
• Fluency in Zulu
• Matric certificate
• General warehouse knowledge across all functions

Compensation
