Retail Sales Assistant – Wellness Store (Cape Town CBD)

About the Role

Evergreen Apothecary is opening a modern wellness retail store in Cape Town CBD offering health products, vitamins, and membership-based services in a professional environment. We are seeking a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to assist customers and support the daily running of the store.

Position Details

• Full-time position
• Location: Cape Town CBD
• Start date: Immediate or within 2–3 weeks
• Working hours: Approximately 40–45 hours per week (some weekend work required)

Remuneration

• Salary: R8,000 – R10,000 per month (depending on experience)
• Tiered wage bonus based on store performance
• R10 commission per new member signup
• Opportunity to grow with the business

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Prepare coffee and smoothies for customers
• Promote and process customer memberships
• Operate POS system (training provided)
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
• Assist with stock organisation
• Work as part of a small team

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred)
• Friendly and confident personality
• Reliable and punctual
• Professional appearance
• Comfortable speaking with customers
• Basic computer skills
