Job Vacancy for a Lowbed Driver

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lowbed Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a lowbed truck for transporting heavy machinery
• Ensure safe loading, securing, and offloading of cargo
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with team members and management

Requirements

• Valid Code 14 Driver's License with PDP
• Minimum 5 years' experience driving lowbed trucks
• Proven experience transporting heavy and abnormal loads
• Good knowledge of routes within KZN and surrounding areas
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and load securing techniques
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Residence in Kloof, Assagay, or Pinetown
