## Title: Reading Remediation Specialist

About the Position

IQRA Bilingual Academy is hiring a Reading Remediation Specialist to support our reading intervention and remediation program. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning during the summer months and beyond.

Position Details

Type: Part-time with daily instructional support
Timeline: Immediate start through summer and ongoing
Grade Level: CP to CE2 (early elementary) and slightly above

Key Responsibilities

Build phonics and word recognition skills
Improve reading fluency
Strengthen basic comprehension
Develop independent reading habits
Provide differentiated instruction based on individual student needs

Ideal Candidate

Experience in reading instruction or remediation
Patient, dedicated, and adaptable teaching style
Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or related field
Proficiency in teaching reading skills in both French and English
Recent graduate or intern with strong foundational teaching experience
