Position Overview

An HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in guest rooms, offices, storage rooms, and other settings.

Primary Objective

To ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing filters or worn-out components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using testing equipment and technical knowledge
• Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, compressors, thermostats, and electrical parts
• Ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards and regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Provide customers with recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or energy-efficient solutions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Complete any additional tasks directed by management

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Air Conditioning, or relevant discipline with at least 3 years of working experience as an HVAC Technician, OR
• Advanced Diploma (A1) in Electrical Engineering, Air Conditioning, or relevant discipline with at least 5 years of working experience as an HVAC Technician
• Strong communication skills in English or French
• Clean disciplinary record
• Previous experience working in high-end hotels (preferred)
• Availability to start as soon as possible
