Position Overview

An economic operator is sought to supply and deliver agricultural shade netting for implementation of ISHEMA project activities. This project is funded by the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency.

Contract Details

• Performance Period: 6 weeks (1.5 months)
• Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Objective and Expected Results

The objective of this procurement is to supply and deliver durable, high-performance agricultural shade netting that will protect crops and nursery plants from excessive sunlight, heat stress, wind, and environmental exposure.

Expected outcomes include:

• Hands-on support for agricultural and horticultural training activities at selected Centers of Excellence (CoEs)
• Contribution to climate-resilient farming practices and improved crop management
• Safe, reliable, and long-term performance under continuous outdoor use
• Structured implementation of work-based learning programmes and demonstration plots to strengthen practical skills transfer
