About the Organization

The National Council of Nurses and Midwives (NCNM) is a regulatory body established by Law № 25/2008 of 25/07/2008. Its principal function is to protect the public from any harm that may result from the practice of a nurse or midwife, by setting standards of education and practice, as well as registering only those who are eligible and competent to practice.

Position Overview

In order to effectively operate and fulfil its obligations, the NCNM is seeking dependable and competent candidates for the following position:

IT Officer (1 position) - Reports to the Registrar

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma (A1) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Engineering, or Information Management System
• Certifications in A++, N++, MCIP, MCSA, or CCNA (advantageous)

Required Competencies and Technical Skills

• Understanding of ICT specifications for different equipment (PCs, Printers, scanners, etc.)
• Proficiency in Internet technologies and IT infrastructure (TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, MPLS, fixed and mobile telecommunications networks)
• Ability to convert high-level customer needs into technical development strategies
• Ability to manage and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking issues
• Ability to repair PCs and other hardware equipment
• Experience in desktop support, network administration, and system administration (advantageous)
