Organization Overview
Alight Rwanda, formerly known as the American Refugee Committee, has been a key player in delivering impactful humanitarian programs since 1994. Primary Purpose
Provide day-to-day supervision, care, and safeguarding of refugees in ETM, ensuring a safe, dignified, and protective environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Residential Care and Supervision: Oversee daily routines and living conditions; ensure safety, hygiene, and dignity of residents
- Protection and Safeguarding: Identify and report protection risks; ensure adherence to PSEA and safeguarding standards
- Support to Child Protection & GBV: Support identification and referral of vulnerable individuals; provide basic psychosocial support
- Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct regular checks; report incidents and maintain records
- Resident Engagement: Promote peaceful coexistence and participation
- Coordination: Work with protection, health, and ETM teams
- Accountability: Support feedback and complaint mechanisms
Qualifications
- Diploma or secondary education
- 2–3 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of child protection, GBV, and safeguarding

Working Conditions
