About the Role

Reporting to the Production Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing tea production operations and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate production records and timely reports distributed to respective users
• Ensure tea production is carried out within set quality standards
• Monitor production against set targets and ensure achievement of production goals
• Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns promptly
• Ensure timely availability of production materials in processing lines
• Liaise with production management in the processing of quality tea
• Supervise and appraise staff in assigned production lines
• Maintain hygiene standards on the production floor
• Ensure machines are cleaned to required standards
• Ensure FSSC 22000 V6.0 standards are understood by all workers and complied with
• Update casual agreement forms and medical records
• Observe and comply with all safety measures and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from a recognized institution
• At least 7 years of working experience in tea processing factory operations
• Computer literacy
• FSSC 22000 V6.0 experience is an advantage
