About the Opportunity

Trinity Nyakabingo Mine Ltd is seeking a qualified local Rwandan service provider to deliver analytical services for drilling samples from both Sonic and Diamond drilling campaigns.

Scope of Work

Geochemical Assaying

• Sample logging and tracking
• Verifying sample integrity and ensuring secure storage before processing and testing
• Standard sample preparation ensuring non-contamination
• Samples digestion/fusion capable of handling tungsten minerals such as ferberite and scheelite
• Assaying samples through standard techniques such as ICP-AES/MS with low detection limits for full suite of elements and ability to assay overlimits
• Quality assurance and quality control through certified reference materials, blanks and duplicates
• Provide control charts to ensure quality control and statistical monitoring
• Provide certificates of analysis

Geotechnical Testing

Capacity to determine rock mass parameters from core and rock/soil samples for mining and civil engineering designs, specifically:

• Uniaxial Compression Tests – determination of UCS, Young's Modulus, Poisson's Ratio
• Tensile Strength Tests – capacity to carry out direct and indirect tensile strength tests
• Triaxial Compression Tests – determination of compressive strength, Young's Modulus, Poisson's Ratio, cohesion and friction angle tests
• Determination of numerical modelling parameters through Mohr-Coulomb and/or Hoek-Brown analysis
• Rock shear strength tests

Eligibility and Competency Requirements

Geochemical Assaying

• Be recognized Competent Persons as defined by the JORC Code (2012 Edition)
• Have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in geochemical assaying
• Possess valid ISO accreditation
