Position Overview

MSF Support Unit Kampala is recruiting a Driver to transport authorized goods and passengers in MSF vehicles. This role is essential to ensuring safe, smooth, and efficient transportation operations while maintaining vehicle safety standards and adhering to all traffic and security regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily technical checks on assigned vehicles, including tire condition, oil, fuel, brakes, communication equipment, and spare parts
• Complete weekly vehicle checks according to MSF Logbook requirements and maintain the logbook as needed
• Keep vehicles clean and in perfect driving condition at all times
• Conduct handovers when another person uses the vehicle
• Ensure passenger security by driving carefully, observing speed limits, following local traffic rules, and adhering to MSF security protocols
• Verify that all passengers are authorized to travel in MSF vehicles
• Ensure non-MSF staff sign a disclaimer of responsibility before using the vehicle
• Manage correct loading and unloading of vehicles and submit required documents to goods receivers
