Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited is part of Mehta Group of Companies and is the leading producer of mill white sugar in Uganda. The organization is located 45 kilometers along the Kampala–Jinja Highway, within the vicinity of Lugazi Municipal Council, Buikwe District.

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Deputy/Assistant Manager for the Heavy Equipment Workshop section. This is a full-time role based in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee the repair and maintenance operations of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to operational standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Degree or diploma in Automobile Engineering
Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience in repair and maintenance of heavy equipment including:
- Wheel loaders
- Bucket loaders
- Cane stackers
- Excavators
- Graders
- Soil compactors
- JCB/Bull backhoes
- Generators
