In partnership with Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and UNHCR, PALM Corps is implementing an education programme in refugee-hosting districts.

Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. We are recruiting Deputy Headteachers to address critical staffing gaps and expand access to quality education in refugee settlements.

Positions Available:

• Deputy Headteachers – Imvepi Refugee Settlement (8 positions)
• Deputy Headteachers – Rhino Camp Refugee Settlement (12 positions)

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Headteacher

Key Responsibilities

• Support school administration and teacher supervision
• Ensure discipline, performance monitoring, and learner welfare
• Assist in stakeholder engagement and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Education (Degree preferred)
• At least 2 years leadership experience
• MoES registration required

General Requirements

• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Strong understanding of child safeguarding principles
• Ability to work in hardship and multicultural environments
• Recommendation letter confirming good conduct (no protection violations)
