Senior Engineer Rural Water Supply And Sanitation

Position Overview

The Public Service Commission is seeking a skilled Senior Engineer for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation. This full-time position is based in Kampala, Uganda, and offers the opportunity to contribute to national water sector development and rural sanitation improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the formulation and review of national policies for the water sector
• Participate in the formulation and review of national plans for rural water supplies and sanitation
• Monitor rural water and sanitation services
• Inspect, evaluate, and coordinate rural water supply and sanitation services
• Provide technical advice and support to relevant stakeholders
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Ugandan citizenship
• Honours Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience served as an Engineer in Government

Reporting Structure

The incumbent will report to the Principal Engineer.
